Is medical tourism in Colombia actually safe?
Colombia has internationally accredited hospitals with surgeons trained in North America and Europe. We only work with accredited facilities, and we vet each one before adding it. The risk in medical travel is usually coordination, not clinical quality, which is the part we handle.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Your concierge stays involved through recovery and after you fly home. If a follow-up is needed, it’s arranged rather than left to you to organise from another country.

Flights are arranged through our travel partner and billed separately, not booked or sold by MedTravelHQ. Your concierge coordinates the timing so it fits your procedure and recovery.
How long will I need to stay?
It depends on the procedure: dental work can be under a week, orthopedic surgery longer. Your itinerary sets it out day by day before you commit to anything.
How is pricing worked out?
Every case is priced individually. After your consultation you get a written, itemised price covering the procedure, stay, transport and support, and nothing is owed until you accept it.
Will my insurance cover this?
Most US and Canadian plans don’t cover elective treatment abroad, which is why people self-pay, and why the price difference matters. We’ll tell you plainly rather than guess.
